The Fred Biglione Award - Fundraising

On Thursday August 24, 2017, North Fresno Rotary President Rod Gibson 2017-18 announced the creation of a new club award; the Fred Biglione Award for Fundraising.

Fred Biglione was a beloved member of Rotary International, District 5230, and the East and North Fresno Rotary Clubs.  Fred’s love of service lead Mr. Biglione to be the highest fundraiser in North Fresno Rotary several years over… despite not being a member of the club during the period.

Perry Huffman Historic Story Telling Art

Perry Huffman worked from 1963 to 1995 for McClatchy.

He was a TV cover and feature Illustrator, political cartoonist. performed police witness drawings, courtroom drawings, informational graphics and retirement drawings or paintings, Huffman occasionally wrote stories he illustrated. He continues to draw, paint, write, speak, fly fish, golf garden and play.

But they also have more opportunities before them. One such opportunity for youth in Fresno and Clovis is provided by YFC's new Campus Life Center. Programs and opportunities are offered to hundreds of area high school and middle school students, free of charge.
