NAMI -A Journey with Mental Illness National Alliance on Mental Health
NAMI Fresno provides education, support and advocacy for all people affected by mental illness. Statistically, 1 in 4 people are affected by a mental illness in any given year. Our organization provides these resources, that are developed to national standards, to our community at no cost and from a lived experience perspective. We understand the journey of living with mental illness, whether as a family member or with a diagnosis, is often met with many challenges and stigma. This stigma creates shame and fear of reaching out for help sooner rather than later.
