Sharon Weaver Next Segment of the Lewis S. Eaton Multi-use Trail

The Draft Environmental Impact report for the Fresno River West Project was released for public comment on February 15. The document outlines a proposed project that includes a new two-mile segment of the Lewis S. Eaton Trail just downstream from Highway 41, along with vehicle access from Highway 41. There are 5 alternatives evaluated in the document that include additional parking and vehicle access, two different trail alignments, no parking or vehicle access, and a no-project alternative. About Sharon

Sharon Weaver

Sharon Weaver was selected in March 2015 as the Trust's third Executive Director. Sharon has a degree in political science from the University of California at Davis. She joined the Trust in 1999 and became Deputy Director of the Trust in 2008. During her tenure with the Trust, Sharon has implemented a variety of major projects including the extension of the Lewis S. Eaton Trail to the River Center, habitat enhancement at Jensen River Ranch, several invasive species management projects, and operations of Sycamore Island, Camp Pashayan, and the Coke Hallowell Center for River Studies. In her free time Sharon enjoys spending time with her family - which includes two dogs and a horse.
